Marşarier

Marşarierul este un dispozitiv de comandă, de obicei o manetă, utilizată pentru a seta direcţia de mişcare a unui vehicul feroviar motorizat - înainte, înapoi sau neutru. Acesta din urmă separă de obicei roțile de grupul motopropulsor. Marşarierul nu trebuie utilizat niciodată când un vehicul este în mișcare, pentru a evita deteriorarea catastrofală a grupului de propulsie. Din același motiv, accelerația și frânele dinamice trebuie de obicei decuplate pentru ca inversorul să poată fi acționat.
