Menič smeru jazdy (ang. Reverser) je ovládacie zariadenie, typicky páka, ktorá sa používa na nastavenie smeru pohybu hnacieho koľajového vozidla – dopredu, dozadu alebo neutrál. Ten zvyčajne úplne oddeľuje kolesá od hnacieho ústrojenstva. Menič by sa nikdy nemali používať keď je vozidlo v pohybe, aby sa predišlo katastrofálnemu poškodeniu hnacieho ústrojenstva. Z rovnakého dôvodu je zvyčajne potrebné uviesť ovládač výkonu a dynamické brzdy do neutrálneho stavu, aby bol ovládač funkčný.

Reversers should never be operated when vehicles are in motion, to avoid catastrophic damage to the powertrain. For the same reason, to operate the reverser, throttle and dynamic brakes need to be disengaged.
