Switches are moveable pieces of tracks designed to steer rail vehicles in one of two possible directions. Depending on the session difficulty settings , switches can be operated in many ways:

When crossing a switch from the diverging end, it needs to be aligned to the desired direction of travel. When crossing it in the opposite direction, however, the switch doesn't need to be aligned. It will automatically change to the track that the crossing wheels are coming from.

Hay dos tipos de señales asociadas a los cambios de agujas: la avanzada y la de navegación.

La señal avanzada tiene una forma de "Y" roja sobre fondo blanco, lo que indica un próximo desvío más adelante y el final de la sección de límite de velocidad actual. Tiene una señal de apéndice blanca debajo, que indica la distancia restante hasta la aguja, en kilómetros. Por ejemplo, una distancia de 400 m se marcaría como "0,4".
