Le locomotive private sono mezzi speciali che puoi possedere, e che non sono di proprietà di DVRT . L'unico modo per ottenerne una è attraverso la restaurazione di una locomotiva prototipo . Per ottenere l'accesso ad una determinata locomotiva privata, devi possedere la rispettiva licenza per quel tipo di locomotiva.

A differenza delle locomotive DVRT, quelle private non scompaiono, il che le rende particolarmente adatte alla personalizzazione con verniciature , gadget e parti varie .

Private locomotives can be requested with the comms radio for a fee , depending on the session difficulty settings . They can receive damage , consume resources and need to be manually serviced .

These locomotives can be found in the world only in career mode , and in sandbox mode they can be recreated from any locomotive with the comms radio livery mode .
