This is an old version of the manual page from B98, remove this warning after verifying it's up to date

The inventory is an interface that allows the user to store, manage and access items that they have on them. When the user grabs an item, it’s automatically added to the “hand” slot in their inventory, and reserves the first empty slot in the storage section.

By equipping or unequipping the item, the user swaps it between the two slots. To access the inventory interface and better visualize this interaction, the user can press the inventory key (default CapsLock on PC), as well as to click the respective UI button in mouse mode. Once in the inventory, they may drag and drop items between slots to rearrange them, or even drag them outside of the interface window to be dropped.

The lower row of the slots in the inventory interface is referred to as the “hotbar”. Items placed there can be reached more easily without opening the inventory interface (default Tab key and mouse movement).

The upper rows of the slots in the inventory interface are referred to as the “backpack”. It is possible to quickly swap items between the hotbar and the backpack by doing an inventory swap on an item (default Shift+Click on PC). Hand swap (default Alt+Click) will swap items between the selected slot and the hand.
