Opravny jsou místa, kde mohou strojvůdci opravit systémy nebo doplnit provozní látky hnacích vozidel. K tomu musí vlastnit licenci Manuální Údržba.

Basic service points, marked turquoise on the station maps, are usually located in depots and offer various repair services as well as basic consumable resources such as diesel, oil, sand, and electricity for refilling.

Steam service points, marked gray on the station maps, are characterized by towers that offer water and coal for refilling.

Strojvůdce ovládá opravny pomocí řady strojů naskládaných vedle sebe, na kterých jsou indikátory a ovládací zařízení. Jedná se o několik typů strojů: výběrový modul, stavový modul a pokladna.
