Windshield wipers are devices designed to wipe windshields from accumulating material that hinders visibility, such as rain droplets. On most vehicles they are electrically powered, and may have adjustable speed settings. On steam engines they are usually pneumatic, and sometimes even operated by hand.
Some vehicles do not have wipers at all. Instead, they have windows that can be opened for better visibility.
