Obtaining Motorized Rail Vehicles

Most motorized rail vehicles are provided by the “Derail Valley Railworks and Transportation” company. They can be found parked in various stations around the world.

Available types of vehicles, their characteristics and locations where they can be found are listed in a book called the vehicle catalog.

DVRT’s motorized rail vehicles are readily available to train drivers to complete delivery orders with. As long as the driver is licensed to use it, they are free to take any vehicle, and as many as they need. Each category of vehicle requires a specific license to operate it.

The drivers are responsible for servicing (repairing, refueling and restocking) the vehicles after use, however, with the help of the insurance system.

Alternatively, private motorized rail vehicles, commonly known as work trains, can be acquired too.

Motorized rail vehicles that are nearby, or those that the driver had used before, can be seen on the world map and fast traveled to.

In sandbox mode, depending on session difficulty settings, it is possible to manually spawn motorized rail vehicles using the comms radio spawner mode.
