HAZMAT Cargo

HAZMAT licenses (short of hazardous materials) enable drivers to take deliveries of materials that are deemed more hazardous than others, in case of an accident. There are three tiers of HAZMAT cargo, each requiring a separate license, successively:

• Tier 1 - Flammable , asphyxiating and oxidizing materials
• Tier 2 - Explosive , corrosive and toxic materials
• Tier 3 - Biohazardous and radioactive materials

In order to acquire HAZMAT licenses, you need the Fragile license, which allows transporting cargo that is highly sensitive to collisions.
