De voertuigcatalogus is een voorwerp in de vorm van een boek dat een overzicht en kenmerken toont van alle aangedreven spoorvoertuigmodellen in Derail Valley. Het toont de verschillende beoordelingsscores, grafieken en functies, waardoor de rol van elk voertuig beter kan worden begrepen en hoe deze het beste gebruikt kunnen worden.

Dit voorwerp wordt helemaal aan het begin van de sessie verkregen en kan bij verlies geforceerd teruggevonden worden met behulp van het inventaris menu.

For each vehicle model, provided that Derail Valley Railworks and Transportation company owns it, there’s information about where it can be found. This is portrayed through a row of colored rectangles, each matching a specific station’s color code, just like on the schematic station map, for example. If a vehicle is always found at a location, it will be underlined with a green line. If there’s a greater than 50% chance to be found at the location it will be underlined with a yellow line. If the chance is lower, there will be no underline. If the vehicle never spawns at a particular location, it will be grayed out.

The catalog shows the list of required licenses to operate each vehicle, with prices of each license listed next to each other. Perhaps the most frequently used data is the recommended hauling tonnage that can be found for each vehicle in different grade and traction conditions.
