キャリアモードは、プレイヤーの成長を中心としたゲームモードです。このモードでは、プレイヤーは最初、基本的な装備のみしか所持していません。資金を稼ぎ、新しいライセンスやアイテムを入手するために、経費を最小限に抑えつつ、列車を運転して依頼を完了する必要があります。

キャリアセッションの作成時に、ゲームの基本を紹介するチュートリアルを受けるかどうかを選択できます。

このモードの目標は、利用可能なすべてのライセンスを購入することです。

Initially you may only select among the default difficulty presets for your career sessions. After making some progress, however, your are able to select custom difficulty presets too.

Alternatively, there is also a sandbox mode .
