Work trains are privately owned rail vehicles that can be acquired and used in addition to those provided by DVRT . They are:
- H1-020 (Handcar)
- Caboose
- BE2-260 (Microshunter)
- DE6-860 (Slug)
- DM1U-150 Utility Rail Vehicle
- Utility Flatcar
- Private Locomotives
For some of the work trains to become available, you need to buy keys to special garages in shops , find the garages and unlock them. For others, such as private locomotives , the process is different.
Being privately owned, work trains don’t go through the insurance system . Instead, they need to be serviced manually .
Work trains are typically able to be requested anywhere using the comms radio , sometimes for a fee .
