潤滑の概要

一部の車両の駆動システム には、走行装置などの複雑な機構があり、正常に機能するためには潤滑油の供給が不可欠です。これは蒸気機関車 でもっとも顕著です。

このような車両は通常、車両上の潤滑剤貯蔵庫に潤滑剤を搭載しています。利用可能な潤滑剤の量は、潤滑装置 と呼ばれる装置の左側のメーターに表示されます。
