Demonstrator restaurering

Demonstranter är förproduktion av fordon som en tillverkare skickar till järnvägsföretag för demonstration och utvärdering, innan de beställer en större flotta.

I Derail Valley, för varje generisk DVRT Lokomotiv -typ, finns det en unik, historisk demonstrator med en anpassad lackering .

Vid någon tidpunkt tidigare gavs alla dessa demonstranter till Derail Valley järnvägsmuseum , deras rättfärdiga ägare. Men sedan museet stängts har loken varit mycket eftersatta.

För att kunna använda demonstratorerna måste du hitta och återställa dem. De är utspridda runt om i världen och deras platser är slumpmässiga för varje session, med stor sannolikhet att vara gömda någonstans inom stationer.

Demonstrators are private locomotives , which makes them advantageous in comparison to regular DVRT locomotives. They can be requested with comms radio , they never despawn and they look special. Like all work trains , demonstrators are best suitable for customization with paint jobs , gadgets and train parts .

To be able to access a demonstrator, you need the Museum license , as well as the respective license for that type of vehicle. For each of the demonstrators there is a dedicated track in the museum building. Next to the track there is a panel with exact steps on how to restore it.

The process involves towing the vehicle to the museum, supplying it with missing parts using utility vehicles , servicing it, and finally giving it a paint job .

Only once it has been fully repaired, a restored demonstrator gains features of a work train.
