Carabiner Slots

Carabiner slots are a VR-specific feature, making items placed in specific inventory backpack slots able to be exposed around your body, for easier access. It is the three last slots from the backpack section of your inventory that have this feature. They each have a button with a carabiner icon on it. Turning it on makes the exposed slot visible, along with an item that may be in it.

When carabiner slots are enabled, those that are unoccupied can be physically grabbed and their position and orientation adjusted this way. Carabiner slots also feature a reset button in the inventory, which when clicked will reset the physical slots back to their default position and orientation.

Items can be placed in and out of the carabiner slots without needing to access the inventory interface. Items that are too large, such as shovels , aren’t allowed in the carabiner slots.
