Distance Tracker

Distance tracker is a gadget that allows measuring travel distance of the vehicle it’s installed on. It is mostly used to determine when the end of the train has passed a certain point. This can be useful when traversing speed limit signs and switches , especially when shunting .

The gadget features a distance setting that you can input. Pushing the activation button will then make the tracker measure the distance traveled. When the distance counts down zero, the gadget will provide an alert sound.

Beware that any traction loss that occurs on the vehicle doing the measuring can impair the result.
