Explosive materials are those that may explode from collisions , sparks, or chemical reactions, including mere exposure to the atmosphere. They are extremely dangerous, as a single explosion may cause catastrophic damage to the environment , and even start a chain reaction, if nearby vehicles contain explosive or flammable materials too, or are simply diesel-powered .
