The shovel is a tool used to load coal from a steam tender to a firebox. There are three types of shovels, each with a particular purpose:
Regular shovel:
Cheap and dirty, takes a few shovelfuls of coal to fill up a typical firebox.
Golden shovel:
Glamorous and eye-catching, carries double the coal capacity of the regular shovel.
Expert shovel:
Short and functional, carries a third of the regular shovel’s coal capacity. It is used for precise control of coal level and consumption.
The regular shovel can be purchased in all shops around the valley. The golden and expert shovels can only be purchased in one of the shops.
