The comms radio clear mode is used to remove rail vehicles , for example if they are blocking the way, and there is no other way around. Removed DVRT vehicles go back to a pool, to potentially reappear sometime again in the future. Privately owned vehicles , on the other hand, are instead reset to their default starting position.
Depending on the session difficulty settings , it may not be possible to clear a vehicle without rerailing it first. Also, there may be a cost involved to clearing a vehicle.
If any car with a delivery order is removed, the order will be canceled immediately. Because of this, the clearing function is intended to be used only when necessary, but not as a convenience.
To clear a vehicle, aim at it and shoot.
