Duct tape is a tool item used to loosely secure mounts, by taping them to a surface.
The advantage of taping over drilling is that it’s quicker, and taped mounts can be easily removed by hand, without the use of a hammer, leaving no trace behind. Moreover, mounts can be taped to any surface.
However, loosely secured mounts will fall off in case of a vehicle collision.
Duct tape is a consumable item. After several uses it can be disposed of.
