The route map is an item that shows railway network switches that don’t belong to a particular station. It does so in schematic form.

The map shows the relationship of switches and allows reading their states and changing them remotely, in order to set a route while on the go. To do this the driver must own the Dispatcher license , and aim at the switch icons to interact with them.

This item is acquired at the very start of the session, and can be force-retrieved if lost, using the inventory.
