Career is a game mode that revolves around user progression. In it, you start with basic equipment and need to complete delivery orders by driving trains in order to earn money and obtain new licenses and items , all the while trying to minimize fees .
When creating a career session, you can select to be given a tutorial that introduces them to the basics of the game.
To complete the career, you are tasked to buy all available licenses. Additionally you may also strive for other goals, such as to buy all items, or restore all demonstrators .
Initially you may only select among the default difficulty presets for your career sessions. After making some progress, however, your are able to select custom difficulty presets too.
To help with playing career mode, you may want to familiarize yourself with the train driving efficiency best practices .
