Microshunter, also known as BE2-260, is a tiny battery-electric locomotive used to carry out towing and maneuvering operations where track layout or time restrictions prevent the use of a regular locomotive. It needs to be unlocked first in order to become available to the driver. To unlock it, the driver must buy a key to a special garage in one of the shops, find the garage and open it.
Once unlocked, the microshunter can be driven or summoned using the comms radio for a fee, depending on the session difficulty settings. The microshunter receives damage, consumes energy and needs to be manually serviced.
