The electric hand drill is a tool item used to firmly secure mounts, by drilling them to a surface.
The advantage of drilling over taping is that drilled mounts won’t fall off in case of a vehicle collision. However, drilling cannot be done on all surfaces, such as on windows, boilers and gauges, and it takes longer to do.
Firmly secured mounts require a hammer to be removed. After removing a previously drilled mount, the drill holes will remain on the surface it was secured to. These holes can be repaired using a filler gun.
The electric hand drill can be purchased in one of the shops.
