Explosive materials are a type of HAZMAT cargo that can explode when tackled with. A mild collision , or exposure to fire , can be enough to make explosive cargo go off. It is extremely dangerous, since a single explosion can cause not only catastrophic damage to the environment , but a chain reaction, where nearby vehicles containing explosive or flammable materials can propagate the damage.
