On the right you’ll find the “See also:” buttons which lead to contextually relevant pages. Alternatively, you can access all pages from the hierarchy panel on the left.

This game and its manual are not intended or suitable for training in the field of real railroad engineering. While it mimics reality to an extent, Derail Valley is still a game. Some of the explanations, features and lingo used are kept to a level that isn’t too difficult to grasp by an average user.
