Oxidizing materials are a type of HAZMAT cargo that can intensify fires when leaked . While oxidizing cargo isn't particularly dangerous per se, high concentration of oxygen poses a big risk if exposed to fire , as it can fuel it, and spread it, uncontrolably.
For this reason it is not recommended to combine flammable and oxidizing cargo.
