部分車輛 配有自動注油器，為部分必須潤滑 的機構進行潤滑。其上有兩個視窗，左側顯示車輛儲有的滑油存量，右側顯示透過此設備潤滑的傳動系統 軸承油位。
當車輛移動時，軸承當中的滑油將被消耗。但自動注油器能取用儲有滑油為軸承進行潤滑。
然而，若車輛停放了一段時間，並且軸承中的滑油已被耗盡，則必須透過轉動設備上的曲柄，手動為自動注油器注油，直到軸承油量完全補充，車輛才能再次駛動。
