Kariéra je herní režim, který se točí kolem postupu uživatele. V něm uživatel začíná se základním vybavením a potřebuje dokončit přepravní zakázky řízením vlaků, aby vydělal peníze a získal nové licence a předměty, a to vše při snaze minimalizovat poplatky.
Při vytváření kariérní relace si může uživatel vybrat, zda mu bude poskytnuta výuka, která ho seznámí se základy hry.
Cílem kariéry je zakoupit všechny dostupné licence.
Initially you may only select among the default difficulty presets for your career sessions. After making minor progress, however, you are free to select custom difficulty presets, too.
