您將以 Derail Valley Railworks and Transportation（簡稱 DVRT）公司司機員的身份開始一段職業生涯，它是一家有著連接山谷中各處城鎮、工業、與軍事基地等龐大鐵路網的鐵路公司。

儘管此處的各項資產皆已經陳舊，但仍然充裕，足以積極復甦，只是得付出多一分努力。

作為一名 DVRT 員工，您能參加入門教學，使用車站辦公室，取得多種執照，取用鐵路動力車輛、鐵路無動力車輛，使用維修區、裝卸區，獲得保險，並理所當然地得以運用鐵路基礎設施。公司將產出交貨訂單，您的份內工作為完成當中內容。DVRT 也提供追蹤您應付費用的便利服務。

由於鐵路運輸發達，Derail Valley 也曾擁有一座鐵道博物館。那裡曾經是一座展有多輛展示機的耀眼廳堂，如今成了一片廢墟，並正連同其早已失踪的車輛尋求私人買家。

這裡還有幾處藏身此地的私人車輛車庫等待您前去探索。解鎖它們的鑰匙可以自商店購買。
