車両 の中には、潤滑 を必要とするものがあり、これらには潤滑装置が装備されています。これは2つのメーターを備えた小型装置です。左のメーターは車両の潤滑剤貯蔵量を示します。右のメーターは、この装置が潤滑する駆動システム のベアリングに注油された潤滑剤の量を示します。
車両が走行すると、ベアリング内の潤滑剤が消費されます。すると、潤滑装置が車内の潤滑剤貯蔵庫から自動的に潤滑剤を補給します。
