Kariéra je herný režim, ktorý sa točí okolo postupu používateľov. Používateľ v ňom začína so základným vybavením a potrebuje dokončiť objednávky dodávok riadením vlakov, aby zarobil peniaze a získal nové licencie a predmety, a to všetko pri minimalizácii poplatkov a pokút.
Pri vytváraní kariérnej hry si používateľ môže vybrať, či mu bude poskytnutý tutoriál, ktorý ho zoznámi so základmi hry.
Na dokončenie kariéry má používateľ za úlohu kúpiť všetky dostupné licencie.
